The Silent Drifted are former members of The Silent Chorus who have stepped away from the strict vows of the Chorus, choosing a quieter, more personal path. No longer bound by formal silence or rigid roles, they carry fragments of the discipline with them—calm, presence, and memory—while allowing themselves the freedom to act on their own terms. Some left by choice, others simply walked too far into solitude to return unchanged.
Accustomed to long journeys between worlds, ruins, and places untouched by society, the Silent Drifted are trained in self-reliance. They know how to move unseen, live off the land or forgotten stations, and survive with grace where others would fade. Though they speak rarely, they are skilled listeners, healers, and quiet protectors—appearing where they’re least expected and offering guidance without claiming authority. They are witnesses no longer—but their silence still carries weight.
No noisy weapons (guns, grenades etc.)
Soundless Shelter: You know how to build or find shelter that is secure, hidden, and spiritually still. Others rest more peacefully in your care. In your presence, a short rest is 10 minutes shorter and a long rest 1 hour shorter.
Depart Without Echo: You know how to vanish from a place or group without leaving behind fear, resentment, or curiosity. People often accept your departure as natural.
No Home to Return To: You belong nowhere fully. Settlements see you as a transient. Orders do not claim you. Even when welcomed, you remain a guest—never a resident.
Mistrusted by the Faithful: Those who still follow strict tradition may see your choices as dangerous. You may face resistance, hostility, or condescension.
