Use misdirection, body control, and subtle bladework to lure your opponent into guarding the wrong spot—then strike cleanly.
You force the target to spend Action Points on defending your feint. Roll d100 for DR 100. If successful, target lose 1 Action Point in the current battle round. For each 25 success rate, target lose 1 extra AP.
If you re-use this skill against the same opponent, it will be at a +30 to DR.
Blade Feint focuses on finesse rather than brute force. It turns rhythm, footwork, and control into an offensive edge. Especially effective in duels, elite melee combat, or when facing stronger opponents who rely on predictable defense. It doesn't overpower—it outthinks and outmaneuvers.
Usually sequenced with your actual attack, but also pair well with:
– Blade Dancing – weave feints into a flowing offensive rhythm
– Martial Dance – use footwork to disguise your intentions
– Precision Strike – layer extra accuracy onto an already exposed target
– Disarm – fake a high swing and twist the weapon from their hand
