Quantum Flux magic manipulates the uncertainty and paradox at the heart of reality. Casters bend probability, superposition, and entanglement to create spells that shift outcomes, duplicate events, or delay cause and effect. Nothing is fixed — until the caster decides it is.

Quantum casters are often theoretical, bold, or unpredictable, thriving on ambiguity, possibility and paradoxes. They work with branching outcomes, potential timelines, and reality glitches, trusting in chance, loops, or alternate paths rather than linear certainty.

Quantum spells appear as shimmering distortions, flickering energy threads, or collapsing visual echoes. Their effects may seem random, impossible, or out of order — but for the Quantum Flux user, possibility is the point.

Spell Powers
  • Alter Outcome: Change the outcome of a dice roll, roulette spin, coin toss or a similar controlled, random occurrence.
  • There/not there: You open up a field of uncertainty in a small inclosed space (box, pocked, small closet). You can set the probability that a smaller item (max 2 kg), you have placed there, will in fact be there when the box is opened. The probability must be 10 percent or greater.
  • Entangle Item: Bind a small item you hold (max 2 kg) to a similar item within range that is not held or actively used by anyone. When you move your item - the other moves in the exact same way.
  • Wheel of Fortune: You gain either Advantage (roll 2d10 and combine to make best d100 outcome) or Disadvantage (roll 2d10 and combine to make worst d100 outcome) on your next d100 roll with a 50/50 probability for each outcome. Can only be used once per hour.
