Enter a heightened combat trance, reducing pain sensitivity. This allows you to temporarily ignore pain from wounds or injuries effectively negating penalties from critical hits. But you may hurt yourself further in the process.
Make an opposed roll against the original hit that caused the critical (roll 1d100 + skill in this ability). If you are successful, the effect of the critical hit is postponed to the next round. If you fail, the attacker can roll another critical hit (but without the bonus from the original attack (just d100).
For each +10 success rate on your part, the attacker must subtract 10 on the critical roll hit.
