The Graskul are a fully sentient martial race - broad-shouldered, thick-skinned, and shaped by generations of conflict into natural warriors. Though their distant origins lie in the primitive Grimkin and the tribal Graskin, the Graskul stand apart as a distinct people with emerging clans, traditions, and a formidable military culture.
Standing between 1.70 and 1.80 meters, the Graskul are physically imposing, with dense musculature and heavy bone structure. Their armor is a patchwork of forged metal plates, hardened leather, and reinforced bone—functional rather than ornate. Many Graskul enhance this fearsome silhouette with carved bone masks or ritual face-paint, a longstanding tradition meant to unsettle enemies and mark the warrior’s role within the clan.
Graskul society is built around disciplined warbands, oath-groups, and clan hierarchies. They fight with organized formations, quick battlefield signals, and practiced coordination. Their weapons—two-handed axes, heavy blades, and powerful bows—reflect a people who have moved beyond improvised tools into true warfare.
A marauding Graskul group rarely travels alone. They often bring Graskin foot soldiers, used as low-ranked fighters or expendable shock troops, typically in groups of 5–10 Graskin led by 1–3 Graskul.
Where the Graskin provide numbers, the Graskul provide dominance, discipline, and leadership.
Cleaving Arc - With their two-handed axe, the Graskul swings in a wide arc, attempting to hit two adjacent targets. Both attacks are made at –10 AB.
Staggering Bash - A forceful shield bash that knocks a target off-balance. On hit, target must roll Strength DR 100 or be pushed 1 meter and suffer –15 DB for 1 round.
War Mask Terror - The Graskul’s carved bone mask or painted war-face carries ancestral symbols meant to break an enemy’s courage. Targets within 3 meters must roll Self-Discipline DR 120 or lose 1 AP from fear and hesitation. Once the SD roll is successful, target becomes immune in this battle.
Staggering Strike (75) - see skill list.
