You melt the very ground beneath your enemies, erupting a glowing pool of lava in a targeted area. Anyone caught in it suffers intense fire damage each round as the terrain becomes molten and treacherous. The longer they remain, the hotter it burns - escalating the danger with every passing second. After two rounds, the lava cools and hardens, leaving scorched ground behind.
The ground in the affected area becomes molten for 2 rounds. Any creature in the area takes 3d8 fire damage per round. Creatures that remain in the lava take increasing damage: +1d8 per extra round spent in the area (4d8 in second round etc). The lava cools after 2 rounds thus dealing initial damage + 2 rounds.
