Prevents one enemy from attacking the warded ally directly with weapons or spells.
1 chosen enemy cannot attack the target directly with any form of attack. Area effects or collateral damage can still happen to the warded ally.
If this spell is cast as a defensive reaction against an attack, there will be an opposed roll against the attack to see if the ward is successfully cast in time to stop the attack.
The warded person cannot use spells or weapons to attack and can only move for the duration of the spell exept for 1 Action Point they can spent on anything but attacking.
The ward gets harder to keep up, so concentration cost is increased per round.
