Forgemasters are the creative core of Promethean transformation: scientists, engineers, and cyberneticists who view the body and mind not as sacred, but as frameworks to be perfected. They design and test new augmentations, construct biomechanical warforms, and integrate synthetic systems into organic hosts—often beginning with their own bodies. Obsessed with progress, Forgemasters see each implant, each graft, as a step toward engineered transcendence.

Driven by the Promethean belief that evolution must be built—not waited for—they occupy a revered yet feared position aboard within the Prometheans. Some push the limits of AI symbiosis; others blend gene-modification with mechanical precision. Failure is common, but so is brilliance. To the Forgemasters, every scar tells a story of advancement. They are the architects of the post-human future, and in their minds, stagnation is the only true failure

Profession Benefits

Prototype Recall: You can detect or recognize another Forgemaster’s work at a glance, even if heavily modified - allowing you to exploit, repair, or duplicate it.

Machine Empathy: You intuitively understand how machines “feel” - detecting stress, misalignment, or instability before it becomes visible or audible.

Profession Restrictions

No Use of Unknown Tech Without Isolation: You are not permitted to integrate and thus use unverified technology into shared infrastructure without containment or testing. This can be done in 1-4 days for basic items and 1-20 days for more complex items (roll dice).

You Must Not Build or Use What You Cannot Explain: While you may draw inspiration from intuition, you must be able to articulate how and why your design functions. Mysticism is for the weak.

May never use magical items.
