Obsidian Engineers are the arcane technologists of the Voidborn - a fusion of esoteric theorists, dimensional physicists, and gravity architects. These enigmatic figures operate from the Obsidian Spire, a colossal and ancient space station suspended in a gravity well beyond known coordinates. Here, the engineers construct experimental technologies that defy classical physics, working with non-Euclidean geometries, gravity anchors, and silent propulsion fields. Their designs do not follow blueprints - they emerge from meditation, theory, and pattern-recognition within the living Void.
While others engineer for control or utility, Obsidian Engineers build to harmonize with the unseen structure of reality. Their ships phase through space rather than traverse it. Their machines hum in patterns that resemble thought. They view gravity not as a force, but as a question the Void answers in riddles. Each device, vessel, or anomaly they create is a bridge between science and silent prophecy. Though their creations are often misunderstood by outsiders, few deny that Obsidian Engineers push the limits of what is possible - and what should be known
All - favors tech weapons
Obsidian Foresight: You sometimes design components weeks before understanding their use - yet they fit perfectly when the time comes. When a situation arise, when you need a tool or an item, you can roll d100 + your creativity score agianst a difficulty rating determined by the GM. Obsidian Foresight has a cooldown of 1 week.
Tools Must Match the Void: You cannot use loud, inefficient, or force-based methods, items and weapons. Crude engineering violates your principles and clouds your perception.
Respect the Collapse: You are forbidden from preserving all knowledge. Blueprints, especially those that attract worship or contribute to war, must not be allowed to exist.
