The Viridian Rangers serve as the advance scouts and wilderness tacticians of the Viridian Blades. Forged in the unpredictable terrain of Verdantis, they master navigation, survival, tracking, and silent engagement across forest, mountain, swamp, and wasteland. Unlike ceremonial duelists or line soldiers, Rangers prefer to remain unseen, slipping through rough terrain to gather intelligence or act decisively before conflict ever begins.
Trained to move swiftly, strike cleanly, and vanish without trace, Viridian Rangers are deployed wherever the unknown must be traversed or where traditional forces would struggle. They often serve as guides, border sentries, infiltration experts, or field operatives sent into regions with limited infrastructure or unstable conditions. Practical, calm, and self-reliant, Rangers are respected for their ability to operate far from command while completing missions that demand patience, insight, and unflinching precision.
No 'noisy' weapons.
Ranger Network Familiarity: You recognize markings, symbols, or subtle signs that can provide useful information, left by other Rangers across the sector.
Natural Landmark Memory: You remember landscapes by instinct - cliff faces, tree growth, water flow - allowing you to navigate even without maps or to recognize landmarks from descriptions only.
Discomfort in Urban Zones: Crowded, artificial environments dull your abilty to rest and create sensory friction doubling the time required for rests.
Limited Patience for Debate: You view most arguments as distractions from action. This can make you dismissive in situations that require negotiation or planning.
Must spend at least half of all, initially available magic development points in either the Nature or Bio-Morphing spell categories.
