The Outriders are the forward eyes and early warning system of Vuodji power, operating well beyond the safety of the main warband. Their task is simple in concept but demanding in execution: locate threats before they draw too close, and ensure the warlord has the information needed to act decisively.

Outriders are adept at moving through varied and hostile environments, able to navigate wilderness, contested ground, and difficult terrain without alerting enemies to their presence. They combine keen observation with practical combat ability, allowing them to harass opponents, disrupt supply routes, or eliminate small threats before they can become larger problems.

In addition to their reconnaissance and skirmishing duties, Outriders quietly manage the ongoing work of keeping Vuodji lands free from dangerous wildlife. This unseen role protects trade routes, keeps local populations safe, and ensures the strongholds they serve remain secure from the natural dangers of Rouktu.

Whether patrolling near borders, infiltrating enemy-held areas, or monitoring remote approaches, Outriders ensure the warlord’s domain remains aware, prepared, and protected.
