The Leuko Knife is a traditional weapon of the human settlers on Rouktu. This heavy longknife - with a broad 25-35 cm blade - is used as a slashing weapon or as a stand in for an axe when performing wilderness tasks. The Leuko Knifes are always of excellent quality and usually beatifully designed with ivory handles and engraved damascus steel blades. The Leuko are preferred melee weapons for many traditionalist vuodjis - and most Erethfar scouts will carry one as well.

The Leuko Knife is associated with a highly specialised fighting style based on long slicing cuts that are optimized for causing damage to targets wearing modern armour types. This style requires intimate knowledge of armour and protection and the ability to gauge weaknesses and openings.

The weight and unwieldyness of the Leuku makes it a bad choice for dual wielding or off-hand use.
