The Fighter is an all round warrior type with access to many weapon categories and usually with multiple specialisations in different weapons. The Fighter starts with access to a fair number of combat skills.

Fighters are often respected for their straightforward bravery and reliability, though some view them as lacking the subtlety or finesse of other combatants. Allies appreciate their ability to adapt to nearly any situation, while enemies often underestimate their versatility until it’s too late.

Ability Prioritization Explained

Core Abilities
Strength: Your primary engine for damage, grapples, shoves, and breaking defenses. It underpins heavy melee lines and helps finish fights decisively.
Agility: Fine weapon handling, footwork, and precision. It boosts accuracy, clean stance changes, and evasive movement across your core combat skills.

Supporting Abilities
Quickness: Tempo control and reactions—initiative, interrupts, and seizing narrow openings. Great with timing-based melee actions, gap-closers, and defensive retreats.
Constitution: Staying power for long exchanges and chip damage. Keeps you effective while you press or hold the line, pairing well with defensive play.

Important Abilities
Boldness: Commitment under pressure—drives charges, flurries, and all-in windows when hesitation would cost the kill.
Self Discipline: Composure for defensive stances, disciplined disengages, and keeping form when fights grind.
Presence: Useful for controlling space and projecting threat—helps feints, counters, and deter-style defense.
Intuition: Reads opponents and rhythm—anticipates counters, ambush angles, and when to switch lines.

Minor Abilities
Reasoning: Helpful for study and pattern work, but less critical than live timing and execution.
Memory: Nice for weapon lore and matchup notes, yet not a limiter for a straightforward fighter.
Creativity: Improvisation helps, but reliability and fundamentals win more often.
Empathy: Minimal impact for a physical, weapons-first kit.
