The sharpshooter is a master of firearms. The standard weapon is a ranged weapon and the sharpshooter can specialise in a number of different ranged tactics. The sharpshooter relies on agility and quick wits (intuition), but high scores in self discipline, boldness or constitution will greatly improve his bonuses to outdoor, assassination and stealth skills. Sharpshooters often specialise in one primary weapon but keep a few sidearms at the ready.
Sharpshooters are often seen as cold and calculating, their skills respected but sometimes distrusted by allies who prefer a more direct approach. Enemies fear their ability to strike from the shadows, often falling before they even realize they are being targeted.
All ranged but only 1-handed melee weapons
Can only use 1-handed melee weapons
Core Abilities
Agility: Primary engine for precise aiming, smooth draws, and movement through cover; a perfect fit for Ranged Expertise and Stealth.
Intuition: Shot selection and lane reading; supports Awareness, Stealth, and when to take or hold a window in Ranged Expertise.
Supporting Abilities
Self Discipline: Steady aim and breath control—hold, squeeze, follow-through; underpins consistent Ranged Expertise and patient Stealth setups, and it also synergizes with the class bonus.
Creativity: Trick shots, non-standard firing angles, and clever setups; enhances Stealth deception and flexible Tactics.
Important Abilities
Quickness: Initiative and timing for snaps, interrupts, and rapid recoveries; useful but secondary to Agility/Intuition/SD for this class.
Boldness: Commitment on high-value openings—helps finalize ambushes or take risky lines when payoff is high.
Memory: Patterns, routes, and target prep; supports repeatable routines across Stealth and long-range planning.
Constitution: Field endurance for long hunts and rough terrain; keeps performance steady under attrition.
Minor Abilities
Presence: Posture control and deterrence are nice, but marksmanship wins the day.
Reasoning: Planning helps, yet live timing and execution matter more here.
Strength: Rarely relevant for a ranged-first kit with only 1-handed melee as backup.
Empathy: Low impact on a cold-work marksman profile.
