Geomancy is the magic of stone, soil, and metal — shaping the terrain, raising walls, triggering quakes, and commanding the battlefield through sheer physical presence. It draws on the weight and memory of the earth, turning natural mass into a living weapon or shield.
Geomancers are often resilient, deliberate, and unshakable, known for their defensive strength and control. They trap, block, and break enemies through positioning, pressure, and timing — embodying endurance over speed, and structure over chaos.
Geomantic spells manifest as rising stone, rumbling tremors, and hardened armor. Their presence is grounded, their casting steady. In their hands, the battlefield becomes an extension of their will — unchanging, immovable, and inevitable.
You gather dust, stone and debris in a boulder in front of you and roll it forward in a line until it dissipates. All who are hit take damage and are knocked back.
You raise a large hand from the ground that strikes out at a nearby enemy.
You wrap yourself and/or potentially allies in an armor of shiny minerals that improves defense (can be more or less shiny depending on the wish of the caster). However, the weight of the armor slows you down.
Turn the target partially to stone, petrifying it. While petrified, the target takes reduced damage and has reduced movement and actions.
Transform an area into treacherous quicksand, trapping and slowing enemies.
You gather dust, sand and rocks to swivel around you dealing damage to anyone nearby.
Raise a wall of solid earth or stone to block incoming attacks, hide behind or stop enemies from advancing.
