Rogue

Playability

Standard
Presence
Quickness

Sneaky and charming with decent, allround combat skills. The rogue relies on a winning smile and a fast weapon making agility and presence his prime stats. With good physical abilities the rogue can make for a very competent warrior - high social abilities can improve his skills and his leadership potential. The rogue will usually specialise in both ranged and melee weapons.

Rogues are seen as daring and adaptable, though some view them as unreliable or self-serving. Allies appreciate their versatility and quick thinking, while enemies struggle to anticipate their next move, often finding themselves outmaneuvered and outwitted.

Ability Prioritization Explained

Core Abilities
Presence: Anchors Social, Diplomatic, and Leadership; also helps Stealth setups (disguise/bluff) and threat control while engaging with Ranged Expertise.
Quickness: Drives Movement tempo, fast Stealth entries/exits, reactive Defense, and rapid Ranged Expertise execution.

Supporting Abilities
Agility: Precision movement and weapon handling—key for Stealth, Movement, and most light weapon lines in Ranged Expertise.
Creativity: Deception, misdirection, and improvisation—strong with Stealth, Thieving, Social, and Artistic.

Important Abilities
Self Discipline: Steady hands and shot control—useful in Ranged Expertise and quiet, precise Stealth/Thieving work.
Intuition: Lane/tell sensing and timing—supports Awareness-style reads for Stealth and picking safe windows with Ranged Expertise.
Empathy: Social read and rapport—bolsters Social, Diplomatic, and Leadership play.
Boldness: Commitment when a tight window appears—useful for forcing outcomes after a setup.

Minor Abilities
Memory: Routes, codes, and patterns—handy but not a limiter compared to the above.
Reasoning: Planning helps, but execution and timing matter more here.
Constitution: Endurance for long operations; you aim not to get pinned.
Strength: Backup for rough entries or last-ditch melee.
